Global Head of Market Development & Engagement

Annette heads S&P Global Commodity Insight’s Market Development & Engagement Group (MRTS business line) with responsibility for a team of 30 who are based in key hubs around the world. The MD&E Group is responsible for developing price methodologies, protecting our pricing guidelines, processes and interactions with the industry, as well as spearheading market engagement and education strategies for Platts’ established and emerging benchmarks segments, which spans nine commodity sectors. Prior to her current role, Annette established and led Platt’s Market Engagement Program, and she’s held a number of other roles within the organization including Global Director of Content Projects & Initiatives and Houston Bureau Chief. She also serves as a member of the S&P Global Houston Leadership Team, as well as Market Reporting and Trading Solutions Leadership Team. During her career at S&P Global, Annette has been active in People Resource Groups (PRGs) including serving as an ACP mentor to military members and their families through VALOR; serving as the Houston office Spectrum board advisor and as the original founder of Women’s Initiative for Networking and Success (WINS) Texas Chapter. She has also served as S&P Global’s Houston Site Incident Leader, facilitating responses to such events as Hurricane Harvey and the COVID-19 pandemic.
