Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources

H.E. Arifin Tasrif, Ir., is the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources for the Republic of Indonesia. Prior to this role, he served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Japan. In 2010 H.E. Tasrif, Ir., was the Chief Executive Officer for PT Pupuk Indonesia and PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja, and he served for several years as Chief Executive Officer at PT Petrokimia Gresik. Earlier in his career, he held roles of increasing responsibility for PT Rekayasa Industri, PT Pupuk Kaltim, NPK-PHONSKA: PT Petrokimia Gresik, KALTIM-4: PT Pupuk Kaltim, PERTAMINA and UNILEVER. H.E. Tasrif, Ir., holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the Institut Teknologi Bandung (Bandung Institute of Technology).
