Vice President, Natural Gas Markets

Dustin Meyer is the Vice President of Natural Gas Markets at the American Petroleum Institute. He leads API's efforts on issues related to domestic and global natural gas markets, as well as natural gas technology and innovation including renewable natural gas, differentiated/responsibly sourced natural gas, hydrogen and the use of CCUS in the power sector. This includes working with a diverse set of domestic and international stakeholders to communicate the many benefits natural gas offers not just to the U.S. but also importing countries around the world and the role natural gas can play in a lower carbon energy future. Prior to joining API, Dustin worked for several years as an energy analyst and consultant, including at IHS Energy and Energy Ventures Analysis, and before that at the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE) and the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC). Dustin has a Masters in Energy Policy & Economics from Yale University and a B.A. in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from Princeton University.
