Levi Tillemann is Vice President for Policy and International Outreach at Ample, Inc. and author of The Great Race: The Global Quest for the Car of the Future (Simon and Schuster 2015). Levi is a regular contributor to WIRED, the New Yorker and other publications. He is also a former member of the Obama administration Department of Energy, Senior advisor to Valence Strategic and joined Ample from the World Economic Forum where he was leading an initiative on cradle to cradle decarbonization of the automobility ecosystem. Levi was a Fullbright scholar and New America Fellow. He has a BA from Yale, and an MA and Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. He speaks Chinese (Mandarin), Japanese, Spanish and Portuguese.
