Usha Turner joined Chesapeake Energy in September 2022, as Vice President – Chief Sustainability Officer, overseeing Government Affairs, Communications and Philanthropic efforts. Prior to joining Chesapeake, Usha spent over twenty years in the power sector across Oklahoma, Texas and the Southwest Power Pool. Her areas of experience include federal and environmental policy, infrastructure and asset expansion and compliance. Usha holds a B.S. and M.S. in Engineering from Texas A&M University, and she currently serves on the Board for Allied Arts OKC, as well as on the Oklahoma State University Graduate Student Advisory Board for the Environmental Science Graduate Program.
