Lead, AWS Center for Quantum Networking
Antia leads the recently announced [AWS Center for Quantum Networking](https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/quantum-computing/announcing-the-aws-center-for-quantum-networking/). She has been involved in quantum technologies for over two decades, with much of her work centered around the efficient production and utilization of quantum entanglement. Starting with a DPhil in Quantum Optics at Oxford, she worked at the University of California Santa Barbara and then at the National University of Singapore, where she was a founding PI of the Centre for Quantum Technologies. After spending some time at the National Institute of Standards and Technology and the University of Texas at Austin, she moved to industry to develop quantum payloads for small satellites as Chief Quantum Scientist of SpeQtral, a startup based in Singapore. In January 2021 Antia joined AWS to kickstart its quantum communication and networking efforts.
